I'm Charlotte, the owner of this site, and the person behind the lens. I'm not new to blogging, but since updating my site, I thought I would start afresh with my blog too. I live in the Netherlands, but am not Dutch. I'm English, and am married to a Dutchie.
As well as being a photographer, I'm a keen crafter and musician. I can regularly be found sat at my sewing machine, doing various needlework projects and card making. Anything artistic really! I play in a wind orchestra, which I'm immensely proud to be a part of.
I live in Limburg, Netherlands, in the only hilly part of the country! I live and am ruled by my very spoilt Shih Tzu. He accompanies me out and about on most of my photography travels. Don't laugh - his name is Brutus!
I want to write this blog so I can connect with people and show a little snippet about that stranger behind the lens. I don't intend to blog purely about my prints, but a little about myself, and my adventures (or lack of!). If I want to buy something a little special, rather than from a big retail chain, I like to read about the site and the person behind it. So I guess you could say I'm aiming this at my potential customers primarily, to show transparency, but also just to engage with others with similar interests. Comments, questions and suggestions of course, are always welcome.
